Few Weeks Ago Facebook launches new timeline feature but unfortunately most of the people want to get rid of this.Also many people contact me and ask this same questions again and again.So while searching a lot at last i got the solution for this.Now if you are a timeline user then great news for you .so geeks just follow few steps below according to your browser.
How To Disable Timeline in Google Chrome:
Right Click on the Chrome desktop launch icon and check for Properties option.
On the Properties window you can find the Shortcut tab, under it Target box.
Users should type the following code on Target box with respect to the operating system they use,
For Windows Vista/ Windows 7 Users : –user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0)”
For Windows XP Users: –user-agent=”Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1)”
Once you have done with the following steps click apply and then Ok work restart theChrome browser and the start using Facebook with the old preview. The entire setup is completely browser dependent and it will not be active if you reinstall or remove theChrome browser. Also this is machine dependent, you will be experiencing the old Facebook preview only on your current machine and not in other computers.
How To Disable Timeline in Mozilla Firefox:
Step 1:
Open your Firefox and go to Add-on screen.
Step 2:
Search for “USER AGENT SWITCHER” , If you can’t able to find the addon, You just go to this link https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/user-agent-switcher/ and Install the Add on and Restart the Firefox.
Step 3:
After Installing, check User Agent Switcher button is available in Navigation bar, if not Just Right Click on theNavigation bar and Click customize and drag & drop the User Agent Switcher add-on to the Navigation bar.
Step 4:
Click the User Agent Switcher Button in the Navigation bar and Choose INTERNET EXPLORER 7.
Now Go to Facebook and See your Old Facebook profile layout, not the timeline.

yes brother this plugin also support Firefox latest version
after setting the useragent to IE7 theres big ugly annoying blank gaps on the page, i did find a solution to this, and that is to install the FB Purity browser extension, as it gets rid of those gaps, and also adds lots of cool filtering options, to give you a simpler smoother facebook experience with less junk.

Hi…. I have Google Chrome and I don’t have properties as an option when I right click…. What can I do to get to it? I tried doing a search in the computer but nothing could be found?

if you still don’t get i recommend to you use
Firefox or safari

Your “Search for “USER AGENT SWITCHER” ” clickable Link, seems to go to some spam site?
The link is worded correctly (if you copy and paste it into a new Tab) but if users click on it, they are sent somewhere else??
Also, can you tell me the ill effects of downgrading the User Agent for Internet Explorer addon? ie Internet Explorer obviously updates for many reasons including ‘Security’ issues; is it wise not to upgrade this? Even with a User Agent addon downgrade addon? Just wondering.

hey kimsland user agent is not going to any spam site actually it is a sponsor site so don’t worry about it.I think there is no ill effect of using ie.but still so have any question then use Google chrome or safari as browser
for chrome i have posted trick above and for safari
Open Safari & click “Alt” button to display menu.
Now, go to Developers > User Agent > Internet Explorer 7.0
Restart the browser and then go to Facebook.com.
You’ll now see your Facebook profile with the old interface and not the new Timeline interface.
Im not on a PC but an android tablet. I would REALLY like to remove facebook timeline from my profile. I just added it today. Is it possible?

actually IE8 is better than IE7 but if you want to remove timeline use IE7.Because Timeline is not supported by IE7
